Beck will be participating in a tribute to the music of Serge Gainsbourg at the Hollywood Bowl this Sunday. Gainsbourg’s original arranger, Jean Claude Vannier, will be conducting the LA Philharmonic with Beck’s band from the ’96-’02 tours, including Justin Meldal-Johnson, Roger Manning Jr., and Joey Waronker providing back up.
